    Hello everyone,

I hope you're all feeling better this afternoon. :blue thumb:

I'm improving :hapydancsmil:. No longer dizzy, have managed to have a small amount of food and will eat something this evening. My cough is still a nuisance but is somewhat better.

I had to go out in the garden this afternoon as I felt very guilty. There were nine pheasants standing under the bird feeder and all looking up at the empty containers! So I had to fill them up (the containers :heehee:).

    Have a good evening.

      Shiney, I could do with your pheasants to clean up after my birds but I do get the collared doves to do the same job. I have to confess to leaving the feeders yesterday as the ones that are open tend to get abused the sparrows and the tit feeders tend to drop them all on the floor, which is ok if the collared doves come and clean up.; They waste so much food. I get through enough peanuts for an army of tits of all kinds but they still end up on the floor, think it is the sparrows doing that.;

I am going to say goodnight and hope you all feel better tomorrow. Night night all,
      God bless.:wub2:

      Aloha everyone,

I'm, just about, back in the world of the living :). No dizziness, unless I move my head quickly (don't usually do anything quickly :heehee:), and just feel a little light-headed. Still coughing, but much less, and expect to feel a lot better by the time I've had some breakfast and a long hot shower.

Moyra, I don't have any feeders that are open. The seed are all in tube feeders and the peanuts are in wire tubes. So the only seed that gets on the ground is what is accidentally dropped by the birds. That's still quite a lot as some falls out as they peck at the hole.

The pheasants do a very good job of clearing up and the doves eat from the feeders. As I have the big candelabra feeder the big birds are able to sit on the cross bar and feed from the lower holes - whilst the small birds drop seed on their heads from the upper holes :snork:.

No peanuts are wasted as they're in the wire tubes. We have woodpeckers there all day :blue thumb:.

The only trouble with the pheasants is that because they spend most of the day walking around under the feeder they actually wear away the grass underneath.

I've got a lot of intensive, and competitive, bridge playing starting tonight. so I've got to get the brain in gear.

Take care out there as it's very frosty.

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

          Good morning all,

Lot colder again this morning, Steve has put a heater on in his van to warm it up and defrost it before he goes to work.

I shall have to take Amber out for her walk in a minute, she has not started to worry me yet though. Not looking forward to going out in that ice.

Have a good day all everyone and I hope you are all feeling better this morning. I am coughing well. Take care, stay safe, dry and warm and above all get and stay well. God bless.

Morning all. Hope today finds you all well, or feeling better anyway.

A bit of a minor milestone for me today. I was recently offered the chance to work less hours after a minor back problem, so from the start of the new year I'm now working a 4 day week, hence the day off today. :)

Got plenty to do today. Planning to get all the housework done, get a stew going in the slow cooker ready for Mrs Trunky's return from work this evening and I have a physio appointment later this afternoon to keep the back in good shape.

Loli, our condolences to Mr Loli's family and yourself. :grphg:

Does he have any family that can help sort things out?

Trunky, good luck with your new, shorter, working week. :blue thumb:

                      Aloha everyone,

I survived the bridge club last night but was feeling delicate by the time I got home at 11.30. A lot better this morning apart from having trouble walking as I had severe cramp in both thighs during the night.. It has eased up a lot but I'm still doing my John Wayne impersonation. :heehee:

Those of you in the top half of the country need to keep your heads down for the next 24 hours. :hate-shocked:. Take care :)

I'm going take it easy today but want to try and get a walk in as I need to build myself up again. I'll get out there if it brightens up. :blue thumb: I don't have the shakes anymore :hapydancsmil:

Keep well and look after yourselves

                      Aloha!
