Good afternoon folks..Hope everyone is all well today..Its another cold day here today with some snow showers and the wind chill feels like -5 Brrrrr!!!..Still feeling a bit rough this morning so another day off work..Took more meds this morning and another hot toddy to try and get over this bug...Gonna go and have a lie down for a bit..Enjoy the rest of your day folks

 

That's interesting I should have gone back to the hospital for another blood test because they said the last lot I gave was contaminated. Trouble is I sat there for 2 and a half hours can't stand that again. So I might ask if Michele our practice nurse could do the tests for me. She is very gentle with the needle when she does the flu jab.

Last night of my sixties shall certainly be a pensioner tomorrow at the big 70, am dreading it. Have a good night everyone. Night night,

Thank you so much everyone for your kind Birthday Wishes. WOO what a beautiful cake you are so kind my dear. I have received lots of beautiful cards and am also so surprised at those on line who have sent me e-cards too, that is so kind. Steve has bought me a beautiful arrangement of flowers, shame they will not survive long. We are supposed to be going out to a Toby restaurant lunchtime, not sure I am keen but I suppose I should show willing. He has also promised to take me up to his club for a couple of hours this evening?

Been trying on and off all day to get here and been frantic to get on to wish our Moyra a very Happy Birthday and to check all our morning folk were ticking away nicely.

Been a slushy ,sleety,rainy day here but some cracking blue skies inbetween I was sta mesmerized by the birds this morning,first the Heron visited,got my camera switched on ,missed him then the goldfinches,Bullfinches (I love those little birds),Green finches and Chaffinches and long tailed tits,every time I picked my camera up it had switched itself off so kept missing them

Just got a call from BIL ,he's got home safely ,what a job I had to get rid of him though,had to bribe him with a loaf and a quiche...so all quiet on the 'eastern front ' once again

Right just need to check my 'girls' are tucked up and that's me done for the day
