Sorry, I forgot to add @Beckie76, I haven't managed to get to Aldi yet due to my stupid knee, and I keep having visions of thousands of folk streaming out with all the good gardening stuff and there will be nothing left for me!! Hope you got your spoils, lol :roflol:

@LyndaG imhaving the very same thoughts! Or as my husband is calling them palpitations :lunapic 130165696578242 5:!!! I couldn't get there yesterday either & today isn't looking too promising, but hey there's always tomorrow! I had heard on the grapevine Aldi's profits had taken a sharpe drop mainly because two plant obsessed women hadn't been into buy their plants!!!! :heehee:
I do hope your knee is improving? & you will soon be back up & running:grphg:.
I shall of course report back once I've had my plant fix! :dbgrtmb: Xx

Lynda...The chooks didn't seem too put out with the eclipse but when the light dimmed three of them jumped on the roof of their dust bath and were chattering away which they don't normally do...

                  Aloha everyone,

Moyra, it's good that you were able to get your meds. Lets hope they work quickly. :grphg:

Loli, your girls seem very comfortable in their home. We have a number of dust baths around the garden. In the back garden there are three that the pheasants use, another that is used by the pheasants and Sarafi and one in the front garden that's exclusively for Sarafi. Sarafi regularly has a dust bath but Oscar never did!

I think I had better go back to the dentist and ask for my badge! :heehee:

Mrs Shiney will be out all day at some flower arranging (I think) event (could be quilting, sewing, knitting or a number of other crafts :noidea:). So I'll make out that I've been working hard all day in the garden :snork:

Someone gave us a load of seedlings of giant onions (Kelsae). I'm now going to have to find somewhere to plant them out (transplanted into to pots so far) and prepare the ground. The instructions say they should be planted 12" apart and that there is a whole series of preparing the ground and feeding them regularly. Too much hassle to do that. They'll get plonked in the ground and will have to fend for themselves!

                  Have a great day

                  Aloha!

                    Morning all.

Monday, OH had to go Geriatric doctor, he may have to have double endoscopy for IBS problem. He will also need to see the memory clinic.

Fred, our dog, has been to the vets again, he has a heart murmur and it is racing at 160 beats, that is what is causing him to collapse. Now on water and cardiac tablets.

Me, well on Thursday had to visit hospital, looks like I have more than one hernia, so now am waiting to go in for investigative surgery. Just a normal week !!:rolleyespink:

Hope you all have a good weekend, just hope it warms up, I need to clear a bit of the garden for potatoes.

Good Morning All, a very wet & windy morning here in Suffolk. The hens decided the best place for them was in the kitchen this morning! They had some lettuice & a fuss. Kitchen floor disinfected & hens now sheltering under the conifer hedge! Why they don't go in their run is beyond me!!
I love your girls set up Loli :dbgrtmb:

@moyra glad you got your meds, let's hope they start to work quickly so you can get out & about.:dbgrtmb:

Good boy @shiney glad your teeth are in good shape, here's a :star: as you didn't get a sticker from the dentist!!! :roflol:

@LyndaG....could today be the day for Aldi plants??? :heehee: I hope your leg is feeling much better & Phil is ok?

Has anyone heard from Woo? I've not seen any posts from him in the last day or so??? Have I missed them?

I hope you've all got better weather than me. Happy gardening folks, have a good day everyone. Xx

                        Morning all,

Lili, so sorry to learn of things getting worse by the sound of it. Do take care. Poor old Fred, hope he soldiers on.

Shiney, you are certainly keeping busy but then I suppose it will not be long before May is upon us.

Loli, loved the pictures of your girls and them taking themselves off during the eclipse. A charm of greenfinches you do see life there!

Have a good day everyone, managed to walk Amber with half shoe on half shoe off again this morning I have to make sure I am drugged up with painkillers sometime before I need to walk. Took extra colchincine tablets this morning too. They are meant to break down the crystals so I would rather use them while I have gout than one a day to prevent gout for which apparently I need Allopurinol for prevention. I think a visit to the docs is called for.

Take care everyone, especially those of you who are suffering may you feel better quickly,
                        God bless.:wub2:
