I only have two camellias, shouldn't really be growing any as the soil is not acid, but I get by.:)

The first is "Roger Hall", I like it because to me the flowers are so perfect.

Behind it is "Contessa Lavinia Maggi", Its a bit less formal, but the flowers are different.
DSC_0017.JPG It also produces a few flowers of one colour, I'm guessing its a "sport" from this plant.

        Hiya Pete.
My soil here is neutral, and did for my Rhododendrons. The Camellia though is doing pretty well. The previous owner said she would just keep piling the grass cuttings around the base. Have you heard of that?

I just water in some chelated iron once a year or so.
I can see how grass cutting might work though, along with tea, coffee drop of malt vinegar.

Madame de Strekaloff - you can see the different colour blooms on the same plant ...

This is supposed to be Eric Baker, but I don't think it is. One of my favourites though ...

Treat it to a bigger pot - Camellias grow happily in pots if they are regularly watered . And it would love some fresh ericaceous compost...
I love that " formal double " flower shape but I don't know which one it is,
