    You hero - I've genuinely spent months of my life (in total) trying to dig it out of Sues garden. We've given up now and instead just try to contain it :mad:
    Still, we're never short of canes to use around the garden.

      yellow flag iris seeds you sent me , I will be planting them out in the Autumn down at the apiary in the side of the brook

            Good afternoon @longk my friend when I planted them dug down 3 ft and put a metal surround round the roots 3 ft in diameter and I find that Black Bamboo is not a problem as it is deep in heavy clay soil;)

              I watched a dosey pigeon try to land on a Lobelia tupa stem that was a bit leant over - snapped it clean off :mad:
