My roses are in full bloom :-)

I've noticed that they've not sooner bloomed than they leaves start to fall off. See attached pics.

I based in Dublin and it is quite windy this summer so some would say that could be the reason but it was same last year. They were planted in 2014

Any reason why this happening or are they just a very delicate breed?

Also, I pruned the rose bushes/shrubs back in March before growing season started. Am noticed that the branches are all weighted down and spread out all over the place - probably due to large volume of flowers. See attached pics Any suggestions for trying to contain the branches or tie them up or am I better leave well enough alone

    Thanks

But I attach a few more pics of the roses - closer up shot this time and maybe someone else here or yourself might be able to identify the type ?
Thanks in advance for any advise and help

Good afternoon @Passport1 I tend to think that it is just a natural process as they look very healthy,I think it is a Floribunda :phew:is there any small chance of a petal count my friend and I am only thinking aloud here,I'm wondering if it could be iceberg it comes in several different blooms,Semi-Double 8 to 15 and semi-double to double in clusters.

Floribunda. New Generation Roses ® Collection. White or white blend. Strong fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Height of 30" to 5' (75 to 150 cm). Width of 2' (60 cm). Reimer Kordes (1958).

Hybrid Tea / Large-Flowered. White or white blend. Mild fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Tim Hermann Kordes (2002).

      Your Rose

That leaves left IMHO White Flower Carpet (Ground Cover Rose)

        Thanks for the reply
Did a quick count and there seems to be on average anything from 15+ petals on each rose
        Hope this helps
        Thanks

Thanks all for replies and information

So am i correct that general thinking is that this is Floribunda (English names - groundcover rose - flower carpet white) - right?

Also regarding my other question about the branches are all weighted down and spread out all over the place - probably due to large volume of flowers. '

Some of the branches are standing tall but other outer branches are spread out and tend to lay flat on the ground

Is that expected for this type of Rose or is there anything i could or should do to gather them together so that they not lying on the ground

              Thoughts?
              Thanks

Hi @Passport1 I can now confirm that it is indeed White Flower Carpet! It’s called ‘groundcover’ and makes a bush roughly 60cm tall x 1.2m wide.

Whoop so i was right then :-)

It does look exactly the same as my mums

My mum has used some metal loop supports to help prop hers up but i have found my ground cover roses have been helped by pruning to create stronger growth and not leggy floppy growth
