This was on another thread :dbgrtmb:, (the one about the 10p seeds). It's worthwhile calling in to see what else they have on sale, I got several veggie seeds for 10p last week - but they were going fast. The next day I called in, the three big bins containing the 10p seeds had beeen reduced to one bin.

The 50% off plants are a real bargain. I've bought quite a few ferns and herbaceous perennials, some cordylines and phormiums and stored them in my greenhouse ready for spring planting.

I've also ordered on-line a couple of 50% off plants that weren't in my local store, they are going to email me when they are delivered to the local one.

Iceland have a special on their packs of boxed fish (the ones that are breaded and that you place in the oven) .... 75 pence a box

that's what I heard when at Tesco's earlier today (2 old age pensioner women were speaking about it)

Are Wyevale Garden Centres (which is what this thread is about if you follow the link in post #1) now selling boxes of frozen fish? - I've only ever seen them selling fresh koi carp, goldfish, etc. ?

I think you mean "The Garden Centre Group" Scrungee:WINK1: they changed there name in '09 the idea is it's making them feel less like the Tesco's of the garden centre world and more like smaller businesses:heehee:

So are this "Garden Centre Group" selling frozen fish then?

P.S. I also thought it was Dobbies who were the Tescos of garden centres.

thought I'd grab your attention on this thread .... heck! 50% off

and I somehow know that you will go to Iceland tommorow as it appears that you often 'hunt bargains' ... even if you are a vegetarian
