    Is it too soon to do the Chelsea chop on my hylotelephium ?

    About 12-15 inches tall and beginning to spread out. I will try to post a picture.

      I don’t think it’s too soon @Little_Weed as it’s looking a bit leggy. You could either remove some of the stems at the base to give the plant more air and scope to expand or cut all of the stems/some of them by a third. They respond well to this treatment. Flowering will be delayed slightly on any stems you reduce in height. You could also add some slow release fertiliser granules around the base to give it a boost, plus water.

      Thank you. I normally cut them all by a third, but usually, towards the end of May.
