Too late for them my friend.:D But, I have never been beaten in the 3 parsnips or 3 long carrots classes, only been beaten once in the hanging basket class, and that was by the wife using my second basket. Still got the cup for the best pompon Dahlias.
I'd love to enter a show. I certainly wouldn't win anything - except maybe the 'Is this the best you can do?' prize, but it'd be fun if nothing else. Sadly, round here there's nothing, (not even a Village Fete) so, if I wanted to enter anything it'd have to be at the Kent County Show and I'm not sure they have 'most curly runner bean' or 'jam jar of stunted sweet pea' classes! Good luck Ziggy - keep us posted.
We've not thought about the Gardeners Corner Challenge for next season yet, or indeed, how to finish off the current one:D So we'll make a special, "What on Earth do you think thats meant to be" category just for you Fidgetsmum:WINK1: Have started putting keep off lables on selected vegetables
Going to print off the stuff tommorow & take it from there. As many as I can. Been sweet talking the farmer down the road, he's got a rather pretty Blue Faced Leicester that i'm trying to borrow for the day
Ahh, I was wondering about your surname, not one I was familiar with. Very interesting Whats Finnish for Badger then ?
