Hi folks. Pretty simple question, is there any alternative to log roll ? We want to edge our proposed path, and needs to be able to take on curves. Cheers...freddy.

You could use bricks concreted end in, perhaps in a saw tooth pattern.

Hi Paul. Thanks for that, but I was thinking of something a little quicker. With my 'bricky' skills, that would be a project in itself, given the amount I'd have to lay. Thanks again. Cheers...freddy.

BTW, I have nothing against Log Roll, just want to consider other options.

I'm not keen on log roll. My garden was full of it so I ripped it all out :D

Not that many other options other than the metal lawn edging products like ever edge, these are more for formal edging though.

Hi guys, thanks for that. LMRR, the third link you gave looks interesting, although I'm pretty sure I've seen those before. PG, that stuff (Everedge) does look the biz, but I'd be a bit concerned about my grandchildren falling over and cutting themselves on it. Ah well, Log Roll it is then :) Cheers...freddy.

Friggin' Log Roll !! Driving me crazy !! Why didn't someone say how awkward it is to get it right ?? The damn stuff has a mind of it's own. NEVER using THAT again !! Just been down to B & Q and bought some plastic stuff, ok, it aint pretty but looks easy enough to use. It'll have to do for now until I get fed up with it. Wasn't too expensive though, £4.98 for a 3m pack. Cheers...freddy.
