Tom Jones was the after show at the races last night.
Bless him he is a bit more frail now but he turns up ,sings his hits ,he just loves the adoration of the fans ,I can’t think of any other reason ,he can’t be short of a pound.
I still felt I was in the presence of greatness.
It was hilarious, there were still ladies ( no that can’t be right) waving their knickers in the air.

There doesn't seem to be any body around these days in the entertainment world that would ever carry on as long as some of these oldies.
I know people might say they should have given up years ago but if they still have a generation that remembers them why should they.

OMG, I thought he had died when reading the title on the New Posts page.
            85.
Reminds me on a friend. His mother was as old as Tina Turner was back then (67). Desperate how old fashioned his mother dressed and spoke, he said, “Seeing what Tina Turner looks like, there went something wrong with my mother”.

Fellow gardeners as a treat for a big celebration last year (March) while staying with our daughter and flock over in Perth, Australia we went to watch home performing at Kingspark he was amazing live ! Our daughter and granddaughter were worse than us though they didn't wave their knickers at the front of the stage but a few other ladies did. Gosh can he sing ! Everyone took their own seats and sat to watch him and quite a lot of Welsh people in the crowds. Our late Queen planted a tree there in 1953 .

If I waved my knickers in the air he'd think there was a hot air balloon coming in to land .
