I've seen the adverts on the telly for this product and went into my local diy store to buy one today but they were all sold out! The power of advertising combined with a proliferation of dandelions and daisies must have made this the "must have" Easter pressie:heehee:

Has anyone used one and are they any good?

I too have seen these advertised but whilst they might be fine for things like dandelion, I'm wondering just how well they'd work on something like bindweed or dock. I can see they'd be useful if you'd got a real 'infestation' of weeds and the reviews I've seen seem to suggest that they're easy to use, but I just thought it was a bit expensive ... for what it is.

They do a decent job of aerating your lawn - It ends up like swiss cheese :D But I'll be getting one, and just refilling with compost and fresh lawn seed. :)

Got mine from B&Q, £29 and a free pair of secateurs :)

If you don't mind filling the holes, it's well worth the investment :) Which? also had a review of it in the gardening mag, and said the only downside is the price, but it was listed as £40 in there :)

I bought one yesterday after trying one on my daughter's lawn. It is quite robust and although the ground is rock hard at present it does what it says on the telly.
Anything to make the chore of weeding a little easier. I bought mine from Homebase for £26.99 - bargain!

Nice one - Did you get free secateurs though? Well, I suppose I paid £3 for mine :)

No free secateurs with mine but having sold out of the weeders in my local garden centre I grabbed one while I could. You got a really good deal NG.

Although my annual spend on my garden has increased the weed population in my garden will be diminishing by the day.
