    I bought these in 2013 to deal with my many climbing/rambling/shrub roses and brambles.I use them frequently and they're still completely thorn-proof-
    They're quite thin so easy to work with too.

      I've also got the Gold Leaf Tough Touch gloves and can thoroughly recommend them. Mine were a bit cheaper than above though.
