Unknown seedling

    I found this evergreen growing near a treetrunk last spring so I potted it up and forgot about it. Eight months of neglect later it looks like this - which is nothing like anything in my garden or what I can see of next door. Suggestions please? worrisit 0479 resized.jpg

    Opposite leaves...might it be Fuchsia?

      I thought fuschia last night, but thought no, can't be. :biggrin:

      It does look very much like a fuschia.
      The only other option that springs to mind is some sort of lonicera
