so my last question, I thought I could get my son planting up some bulbs that we could then present in some plant pot holders that we have also been given. I am not quite sure the best way to go about it. I think I would put them in plastic pots, in just normal potting compost, but can't decide whether I should keep them in or when to plant.

The idea is I would just pop the pots in the pot holders and kind of sell them as an 'indoor' plant when they are just about to come out (hopefully a bit sooner than when they are out in the garden?), but never done this - always just put them in the ground or in patio pots that are just left outside.

Sorry for so many questions :)

forgot to say I bought a big cup and saucer from Ikea and am hoping to transfer crocus bulbs into them once they are ready, but not sure f this will be doable. I did toy wit the idea of trying to drill a hole in the bottom, and did actually buy a drill bit but yet to be brave enough to try....
