The last couple of years I have hardly had any Ladybugs in my garden but this year I already have lots of them. Has anyone else notice this?

Don’t know about ladybugs, but I certainly have hundreds and hundreds of ladybirds both in the garden and in the house. All varieties of ladybirds too.:)

Mrs Shiney and I agree we have already seen well over a thousand ladybirds - but we have a large garden :)

Only spotted 3 ladybirds so far this year - didn't even have that many last year either.

No wonder after the dry and warm weather last summer. Obviously many of them survived the winter.

Surely its the same as butterflies, you are now seeing the overwintered bugs, they go on to breed and later in summer you see the new generation.

Yes, hundreds of the little blighters have been crammed into my casement windows all winter. Every time I tried to open one of them I would be showered with dozens of them.
