Hi all. Having moved to good sized garden we look and find that the fruit trees have been ravaged by the local deer and have had bark stripped off in their lower extremities. They look preaty good other than that, still producing fruit but there are new shoots at the base of the trees. Is this a potential problem ie. weekening the tree or can this be ignored? Also do I need to treat the trunk or are they best left to repair themselves?:cnfs:
