I took cuttings from sambucus nigra dissectum, sambucus sutherland gold, cistus cyprius, hydrangea macrophylla this summer. They have all taken root and are growing away slowly.

Can someone advise me whether I can overwinter them outdoors? I live in London and was hoping to keep them on the decking outside my house. Thank you.

They will be fine! Just tuck them out of the way for the winter, they will be dormant and not doing much but once spring comes they will shoot away, and may need potting on then!

The Cistus are evergreens from the mediterranean, so make sure they get a bit of sun and don't get too damp.. The others can be in sun or shade!
