Unfortunatley the sunflowers seeds are all empty, I thought it would be polinated by Atticus L's Russian Sunflowers but obviously not. Will grow 2 next season.

Not quite, but I can see the similarities. The Boy is 8 years younger than Poppie but ironically bigger than both of us.

Already planning for next season Sheal:thumbsup: If we didn't have failures then our brains would stop evolving and we'd start watching big brother, jeremy kyle & judge judy.

Then we'd start living off ready meals & reading the sun, drinking cola & eating mac somethings.

Then we'd go to work & get taxed on what we earned, pay vat to buy the car to get there, pay road tax & tax on petrol and then bank charges to get what money is left after all the taxes and then pay more tax on the food we need to survive, the fuel to keep us warm & then more interest to the banks to buy the place we live and then spend what little we have left on scratch cards and lottery tickets hoping that a billion to one chance will get us out of the mess that we have got into:DOH:

Give me the failed plants every day. I have some spectaclier failures this year but that will make me suceed next year:dbgrtmb:

Sorry, went off on one there, but it is Saturday night:D

Ziggy.........and it's all those wonderful successes and failures that give us the escape from the miserable world around us. Get out there on the plot or garden and switch off! :dbgrtmb:

Eight months ago our television went out the door, the best thing we've ever done. Then I found GC and made new friends, I've also re-discovered
books and most of all, how to SPEAK again.

There's also the satisfaction of not paying the television licence for a whole load of rubbish! :)

What have you done to yourself! I presume you dropped it. Ouch! Hope it gets better soon. :)

If you play on it well enough Ziggy, you can get the kids running around for you. :WINK1:

Blimey! I bet the air was blue!

My mum used to recite a line to me when I had my three. 'When they're young they make your arms ache, when they're old they make your heart break'. They love you Ziggy and they'll be back! Hang in there. :)

I lose my second one to emigration in a fortnight. Remember my daughter went to Canada in May. My son is marrying an American and off to live in Ohio. Quote, yet another song.........'Many a tear has to fall'.......
