Who killed red robin?!

    I bit the bullett yesterday and made a very severe pruning to the photinia that had got too big; it's now about a third of the size which some would say is too much to take off in one go but I just know it will live... how? Because of all the plants in the garden, I'm not bothered about it dying lol

    There's now much more light coming in and a more open feel:)

    I would imagine that the Red Robin would survive a hack like that, and you will get the benefit of all the new red regrowth that will be appearing very soon!

    I hacked mine up and it grew back so u might be in luck lol

    Photinia is very tough almost akin to budleia, chances are it will come back very quickly

    Quick update for you - It's alive! All that was left were branches and they now have a plethora of buds all over them. Should look fantastic in a very short time now...
