Quite correct as 'Due' is normally used to modify a noun, but in publishing parlance headlines are allowed to be contrary to the accepted norm.

Try putting this short poem through your spell checker.

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a quay and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It chose me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye kin put the error rite
Its rare lea ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew.

 

That was good as credits were almost as rare as hen's teeth!

Don't forget less and fewer or different from and different to. There are a lot of them but the accepted use has changed on some of them. Similar to them changing the taxonomy of plants.
