Aldi have a nice stock of Clematis at the moment. Good big plants at £5.99 each. Very healthy at the moment, but they don't look after them - so be quick :blue thumb:

They are all named varieties of Clematis Freddy. I bought a Mrs N Thompson . Can't recall the other varieties.

I bought 2 clematis (the president and etoile violette) from Aldi for £1.69 each.

@HarryS They are tiny. I hope I can protect them long enough to mature. It might take a few years yet.

Thanks @HarryS . As an aside, Aunt Sally picked up 3 ‘climbers’ from Asda for £5 (for all 3), a climbing hydrangea, a passion plant and a honeysuckle. Don’t know if they were named or not, she’s already got ‘em planted. Not very big, but certainly viable

2 clematis safely potted up and put in a safe place in the sun to mature.
