Took Nico for a long walk/run through local woods....bluebells still throwing out fantastic scent.
Love the beach but it is so tranquil in the woods

Expecting a plant delivery some time today...postie will leave it for me. Why oh why do I keep buying plants......I already have loads waiting to be planted

Been busy helping to lay composite decking over past few days. Looking good with just one or two finishing touches left. Two tall planters to complement the decking (I might make the containers out of spare decking??) and simple single architectural plants in each should look the part I will plant a couple of containers with zaluzianskya, heliotrope arboreacens and regal lilies for delicious late spring and summer scent....gotta have lots of scent in the garden

 

Morning .... just feeling a lot more human today, just put the bedding in the washer, that seem to tire me out.

Verdun we just can’t help buying plants it’s built in us just enjoy them.

Hello everyone, I was AWOL due to my PC being kaput. I did eventually manage a system restore while it was in safe mode and it now appears to be functioning well. Thank the good Lord. I did do a lot of praying and am not ashamed to admit it. So glad that Tesco no longer sells pcs or I would have spent money, I could ill afford.

I am so sorry that so many of us are suffering one way and another. My torn ligament in my knee is not getting any better so I hope you all gain health improvements soon. God bless. :-)

Glad you’ve got your computer restored we feel lost without them don’t we.

Morning everyone .

Sorry to hear your still suffering @moyra. Just take things slowly. Our youngest son tore a ligament in this leg last year . He was told it would take 4 to 8 weeks to fully recover and to follow the RICE method ... Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. It did take a good while but once recovered he was back at the gym.

@Flumpy hope your feeling a bit more comfortable today, and resting up too.

Hubs is doing OK but is completely washed out with no energy at all. His appetite is slowly returning ,so that is really good sign.

Dare I say it but I've woken up with a sore throat this morning ( I'm convincing myself that it was because I slept with my mouth open ) .Have planned to meet up with a friend for lunch today too.

Because of hubs being so poorly we've kept our distance from my Dad and brother because of their weaken immune systems. Fingers crossed this sore throat is nothing because I'm picking up some flowers today and tomorrow we are all getting together as it's the anniversary of my Mum's death so are going to the cemetery. Would be so upset if I can't participate in that with them.

Right must get a wiggle on, lots to do, have a lovely day everyone !

 

Good morning everyone, thanks Upsy that is reassuring because I was getting depressed that it did not seem to be improving. I wondered if I was overdoing it walking Amber twice a day. But I have to do it, Steve won't he thinks it will do me good, no empathy there yet he gets me to buy him volterol and ibuprofen for his aches and pains, you'd think he would be more understanding.

I am glad your OH is recovering at last and I hope that your sore throat doesn't develop any further.

Pleased to say I have got to grips with my computer problems and she booted up without any problems this morning.
