Thanks Loofah, I too have been out collecting from a local country park. Only Him upstairs knows what will come of it but I tried.

I love collecting seeds but only started being organised about it since this summer. Now I have little envelopes for them to be stored in and labelled, and next Spring I will have to remember when to sow them all. Then there's the matter of where to GROW them all!

    Great fun though :)

Ah the beauty of taking a step forward in gardening. At first you worry at how much it will all cost, and then you start to realise just how much room you really need. Just can`t fit enough in.

Yes, I have that problem. I have reduced the lawn as small as I dare and am now looking at growing vertically (climbers, baskets etc).

I halved my lawn this year into two overlapping circles, and where they overlapped I dug out two new rose beds. As my hubby likes his lawn that is about as far as I dare go................for now hee hee hee.

Our lawn has decreased, as if by magic this year, but I think I have reached the limit now. OH prefers some lawn whereas I would be happy to convert most of it into flower beds and borders. It only needs mowing and attention given to it, but I have to keep him happy!!

Mines going that way too, with the chucks taking up a big bit of garden(and they'd eat anything I tried to grow) and my veg patch at the moment is way too small my lawn too will be reduced for my veg patch :) and a better plant patch. I'm just not looking forward to all the digging I keep signing myself up for, :lollol:
