I'm surprised you're already drying them - some of mine still have green leaves.

Really seems too early especially for Tulips.

I have removed all my container daffs; the leaves were beginning to turn yellow which might have been just drought, but I wasn't going to bother watering them to keep them going. Tulips also removed but I'm going to compost those or feed them to the squirrels and get new for next year.

I spread mine out on the patio to dry.

Our tulips, in pots, are all lifted as they had all gone over. The ones in the veggie patch are still green but they are in shade for the hottest part of the day

It depends on whether you want to plant them next year for flower display or put them out in a wild part. I was eyeing my tulip remains and have decided to empty the containers and put the bulbs on the compost heap as they never perform well after the first year for me. I am going to replenish the soil with fresh compost etc. and plant my sweetpeas in them, when they have grown.
