Fond of Fronds

It looks like the new foliage of Polystichum polyblepharum (Japanese Lace Fern) to me, and it looks OK to me (although picture is a bit fuzzy - so I'm not 100% sure about the ID). Not sure what 'that' is!

Here's some more. 'that' is getting furry round the edges.

That's the one @micearguers . Mine isn't quite so spruce -looking.Mine's covered in spores . Pregnancy can make one look a trifle ragged.
I have labels for a lot of ferns but they all look the same.

 

My discarded bag of sand is still producing.


And the rain always makes the ferns pop.

 

That looks Jurassic @Banana Man ! I expect a cheeky raptor to peek out anytime, or maybe a friendly mini Brachiosaurus. Wonderful sight.

They were good covers. I don't tend to flower the bananas anymore, also having a 100w heat lamp in there all winter these days would bankrupt me :D
