This is the plant I have been having major trouble with. The flowers are beautiful and loved by pollinators, but there must be more rhizomes per square inch of soil I've ever come across on any plant. Thousands, and they splinter and create new plants in days, hiding amongst the roots of established plants making it hard to remove. Its up there with couch, bindweed and ground elder, at least in my garden. I can't dig it out fast enough.

When I bought it it was labelled Coreopsis, I wouldn't have had I known.

It may not be so invasive in other gardens, but my loamy, loose soil and full sun in most of mine seem to suit it perfectly.

Has this plant been a problem for anyone else? 20250724_150400.jpg 20250724_150621.jpg

I used to have trouble keeping coreopsis going on clay! It obviously likes your conditions.
