Goldenrod, a weed that's appeared in my shady, dry border and is doing a good job of brightening it up.

I am so jealous. Mine, seeds sown by my fair hands, is three years old now and still not flowered.

My Fuchsia bolviana (similar to Thalia I think) had one flower earlier this year.

The purple Bougie used to be the most popular here ... now you can't find it! Yours looks great.

I seriously think this prolonged high heat is hindering growth and flowering.

This Hibiscus opened this morning under the Brugmansia.

I find Campsis tend to flower on the ends of the shoots, so you cant prune it during the summer, and C. radicans does get straggly, unlike the C. "indian summer" I used to grow which was a nicer plant.
I seem to remember growing a Fuchsia maybe similar to boliviana a few years ago, I gave up on it as it only flowered late autumn, not sure if that was caused by day length or cooler temperatures.

Its all experimental and you have to stick with what does well in your situation and climate.

Good to see all the nice garden photos. Here are a few blooms from the garden here.
Hydrangea with solitary wasp that I saw soon after fly off with a metallic green fly that it had caught.

First little cyclamen this year - so I thought I'd get a pic before it disappears. Most of them are pale pink [yuk] and I only have a few whites. This one likes being a contrast to the shocking pink dianthus!
