Thank you @fairygirl, I've had it about 40 years in a pot (took a cutting from one growing on a wall somewhere !) but I haven't got any ground next to a wall where I could plant it, all walls have decking or concrete by them
    .
It's survived all these years in a pot so it must be happy

It must be indeed @Michael Hewett ! You could always rig up some height with trellis for it to climb a bit, or have it in a bigger container next to a shed or similar, if you can manage it.
It's surprising that it's managed in the pot though, but the colour is so beautiful on them. I love them but I have enough climbers here so I'd be struggling to find a good site.
There's one on a house wall about a mile away from me, and it's always lovely in autumn if I go past. Boston Ivy is the other Parthenocissus, and it's lovely too. They're both great for covering old [in particular] buildings, or things like ugly outhouses etc. :)

I've got lots of climbers too @fairygirl but they are on trellises, and the trellises are full. I may put a trellis for this somewhere next year

I've started bringing plants into the house early this year, and I've hung some on an old clothes rail. It's gone rusty from being in the shed for years, but the plants don't mind.
I've put it in the bathroom and it doesn't look to bad. It will be easy to look after the plants when they're hanging there.
I may try to clean the rust off some time ...

Someone gave me these Gazanias as he had too many on his land and we put them at the base of the Avocado tree.

As they look so cheery I have bought a packet of mixed Sunshine to try.

Hedychium Lunar Moth finally flowering. Can't yet tell if it's as scented as Devon Cream nearby - need some sun to release the scent.
And here is a view of the whole of it (the bed is lowered ) - I counted 9 flower spikes to come if the weather is ok

Echinacea and eryngium. It looks like the slugs have made a start on the echinacea, having polished off the zinnias.
