Thanks for posting this Carpenters song @Logan; it's new to me and different from all the other Carpenter's songs I've enjoyed over the years.



"Top of the world" takes me right back to 1972 when I was a fiberglass laminator; it played many times over the works radio; nice song.

Something totally different; I've been watching 40 minutes of this during breakfast this morning;



Pure nostalgia for me; I remember those days so well as a kid born in 1947. Beautiful; elegant prettily dressed ladies with genuine warm smiles; no tattoos and the only body piercing was for ear rings. Where are the beards on the guys and most wore a tie. Excellent music too. Some things were so much better in those days. I confess I live in the past.

Well said @Logan; in the 50's & 60's the music scene was truly alive and buzzing with so many memorable songs still remembered these days. Most modern songs I hear once and instantly forget.

Each generation has it's own preference. Here are two more modern songs I like out of many;
