Bought my first greenhouse this year from Ikea. Only a cheap polytunnel type, but it's really good. No better feeling knowing your precious propagations and tropical plants are safe and warm...ish. The number of plants I've managed to propogate and grow on this year is mental :yay: I threw a horticultural fleece over the back half of it which has got me another degree or so above outside temps.

I always reckon my unheated lean-to greenhouse is about 3c above the outside temp in cold weather. I sometimes put fleece over the plants inside if it's really cold. I couldn't be without it now. It's my woman cave. I hope you get many productive years out of yours @Banana Man. It looks quite stuffed full of plants already.

It's rammed :heehee: I think I've definitely utilised all the available space. I'll take a picture tomorrow when I vent it.

I could actually do with one like that for my overspill this time of year, but it would need to be easy to take apart and store for the summer.

That's the problem @pete - we end up filling the available space! @Banana Man - you grow some interesting stuff - I'd love you to show us what's there!

I've always wanted just an extra rain shelter at this time of the year, it's the wet that often causes problems for me

Interesting screenshots of the temperatures, are you using Home Assistant and what sensor unit do you have in the greenhouse ?
Also setting up a similar html display though its hard work, for us oldies, finding out what all the parameters are.

It's these, I just bought another 3 pack as I get obsessed monitoring :heehee:

                https://amzn.eu/d/0h2F48K

All controlled through a phone app called switchbot.

There's even one next to Bob as I can activate the smart heater if it gets too cold :)

Greenhouse is toasty in the sun today.

I pull back the fleece so the sun can penetrate.

Foxgloves repotted as they have seeded amazingly this year. Only another 100 to do or I might just leave them in the 145ltr storage box I sowed them in.... also another palm self seeded that got potted up.

                      20251121_123145(1).jpg

Going to harvest these Paulownia seed pods and give them a go next year. The amount of flower heads waiting for spring is amazing. The bees and bumbles go crazy for the foxglove tree flowers, its going to be a good year! You can also see the crazy amount of flowers on the tetrapanax that the bees are still feasting on.

One last one... bulbs are confused.... not realising it's sleepy time!

Do you happen to have a spring photo of paulownia in flower?

That's an off shoot, I cut the main trunk a couple of year ago as it was too huge.
