I had 7 photinia making a hedge at the back of my garden. I removed the front 3 tree's as it was just a little too much for the garden. The problem is since I removed them, the 2 trees that were behind have bare branches up to about 4 ft high and then lovely red tips! I did this about 2 months ago and I cant see any sign of the bare branches growing any new leaves. As you can imagine my new hedge looks a little silly:dh:
Any advice on what I can do ?

Good evening Dizzie and welcome to the site. What you could try is watering the stems, this MAY induce new growth. It`s what standard Fuchsia growers do to start the plants into growth.
