I saw somewhere that someone got wabbit seedlings from a supermarket and with a bit of mollycoddling brought them back to health. I just wondering what that entails cos I had some ill beasties that keeled over and joined the choir invisible. I suspect it was overwatering and the cold that got them. Is there a botanical band-aid?
I don't wish to offend you Xoot but is this a serious question. Wabbit seedlings sounds a bit ominous to me and being as you've had 20 viewings and no replies.......hmmmmm. Can you explain what the full grown plant is like please.
Wabbits, aka Bunny wabbits, are small fury animals as far as I know. Overwatering them would certainly see them off, and I don't think Bob Geldof will really be able to help in that situation.
ah - I see that an online dictionary says that wabbit is only a scottish word. So for you english speakers, wabbit means tired, run-down, under the weather, doing poorly and in relation to plants - wilted. I got 24 healthy Busy Lizzie seedlings from the supermarket but, after planting into small pots, most of them have died in my unheated greenhouse. What can I do to save the rest?
Thanks for the replies everyone. Kitchen windowsill space has run out with a collection of chilis, coriander and a mahoosive basil plant that has plans for world domination. My wife says it's like the day of the triffids!
