I popped into The Works (in MK) today to get stationery for my 6th form son and stumbled across a huge 'bin' of seeds Mr Fothergills mainly all at 25p a packet. They are this seasons ends I think they have sow by 2012. All sorts there - you need to dig around - I ran out of time as was in my lunch time.

I presume other branches may have them.

I had no idea that The Works stocked seeds. Thanks for the tip off.

As I passed the Works in my city centre a while ago I saw a basket labelled "seeds" but I didn't have time to look. I'll be sure to look next week! Thanks for the tip.

We have a Works as part of a big garden centre about a mile up the road . Maybe they won't let them sell cheap seeds in GC's ? I'll have a look later.
I have just bought a single packet of Pansy seeds from Mr Fothergills , they have free postage so a single packet is fine . When they arrived I had 2 free packets of seeds !:dbgrtmb: Tomato , and Echium Blue bedding , seems like a good deal :happydance:

We have Wyvale garden centres round us and for the last couple of years they have been selling off al their seeds cheap at the end of the season at knock down prices and there is usually a crowd of people sifting through them:D
