I have finally got round to buying some plants and climbers for my new built garden. Got them from a local nursery which on the face of it seem to grow and sell beautifully maintained plants at very reasonable prices. I forgot to ask the following so hopefully someone here can reassure me.

I will not get a chance to plant them until the weekend so basically are plants OK indoors for 72 hours. I would hate to see them damaged in anyway through my stupidity through storage. I am completely new to gardening hence what may be an obvious question. They will be kept for 72 hours (till Saturday) in a back room with a little natural light getting in but no or little sun and the temperature will be about 19 degrees with the rest of the house (the radiator in that room is off so they wont over heat). I will water as necessary.

    Someone reassure me?

Hi Jb, you didn't say exactly what the plants are, so I don't think anyone can answer with certainty until we know!!

JB, if they were outdoors when you bought them, then they would be better left outdoors. People should realise, garden centre plants are very often left in pots, outdoors for months, and in some cases, years. They will be fine.:dbgrtmb::dbgrtmb:

Thanks - I guess I was being lazy at the time and although I wont get time to plant till the weekend I did indeed take them outside yesterday and secured them so they wouldn't blow over etc

      Thanks
