I have just received a large box of various items and a lot of bubble-pack was used - Before my wife ferrets it away for presents and/or various packing my question is:
Can I find a good use for it in the allotment ?
    Cheers,

Do you mean bubble wrap? If so, it is on sale in most garden centres as greenhouse insulation.:gnthb:

Thanks Daitheplant - Yes I am sure we are talking about the same thing but my bubble wrap is in small 30 cms wide and perhaps 60 cms long and lots of sheets like that - so am wondering if there is another use instead of insulation for a greenhouse

That size would be suitable for insulating individual pots. But as we are now coming out of winter you may as well give them to the missus.:D:D:gnthb:

You can use it for soil warming. Just lay it on the ground before and just after you sow seeds. I use it to cover the top of a compost heap after I've planted potatos and it helps get them going faster. I also use it draped over a heated propagator in my greenhouse to reduce heat loss.

    I know!

You could use it as packing if you have to send a parcel anywhere....

    I'll get me coat.
