    Don't worry, I'll soon shut up...:hehe:

This was last springs garden project which was inspired by a piece of wood that I was going to throw away because it was too cupped to use for anything. It didn't take long before deciding that it would make the ideal seat for a swing, and it went down hill from there!!! :hehe:

I have very strict code, of trying to do things on the cheap or nothing, and this project was no different. I sourced four treated poles that were lying around at the back of the yard of a local forestry company. They were bent and couldn't really be sold for retail, so I stepped in to take them off their hands. The short cross section in the right of the picture, was a practice run for the bigger cut.

This was basically how I marked and cut the adjoining trench cuts.

It would have been a real struggle to raise the poles by myself, but fortunately I managed to borrow a friends mini digger to assist me.

Once erected, I decided that it looked too plain.

So with the help of the ever eager ChloeJ!

I then made a trellis to fit either side.

And here it is finished and being used in anger!!

The area is also now grassed over, climbers adorn each post, and I've made and fitted a couple of drinks holders to the sides of the trellis.
