Just got down to West Bay to find the greenhouse battered & bent.

Some of the curved plastic panels are broken, some have blown away completely.

3 of the glass panels popped out, but didn't break, thanks to being safety glass.

Don't know how i'm going to fix it without taking all the glass out:(

Sorry to see this happen to your latest pride and joy Ziggy. :( Are you sure it wasn't vandalism?

I don't think you have any choice but to take the glass out to get it straightened. Hope there's no creases in the frame that will weaken it.

    :(
Oh no! What a shame Ziggy, even before you've had chance to use it.

Hmmm .... hard to say, but gutfeel says perhaps unruly teenagers

wind has been strong lately in my area, but no structural damage to any of the properties I work at (and that includes old wooden walls that are half rotten)

looking at the pic, the door puzzles me .... that (to me) looks like vandalism, but then again, I am merely speculating

on tuesday, was working in a village .... wind was pretty strong and some dustbins tippled over after the council emptied them

and saying that, is this not perhaps related to the incident with the tarred driveway with your sister ...`where there were probs recently?

Looks like wind damage to me, if it was vandalism it would have been done from the outside, not inside.

oh dear! i am also inclined to think it is vandalism. What about other hints on the ground/near the greenhouse?

      Evening all,

Thanks for your words of support:dbgrtmb:

Definately the wind, just don't get vandals down there, too many houses to walk past. Some other stuff was blown over too, the panels on the chicken shed I was going to repair.

Its open to the elements, wind cuts straight across the field. When I do get it back together, got to think of ways to cut the wind without cutting the light out.

The wind has buckled some of the struts, but its nothing that a bit of brute force & ignorance shouldn't take care of.

Zig, may I suggest you strip all the glazing out and reset it using silicone AND the clips. You will be surprised at how strong the building will become then.:dbgrtmb:
