Doesn't surprise me, there are loads of these crazy neighbours vids on youtube. The only way these days thanks to the legal system.

Makes you wonder about society though - all those people standing by laughing and watching....but do any of them go to the guy's assistance? Only onlooker who did any good was the one doing the recording.....at least there was a record that the resident of the house did nothing wrong.

 

While I am glad to see that the idiot got his comeuppance, I do not like to see violence and can't believe that there were kids there watching it too! Makes you wonder about the mentality of some people.

I think I've missed something here, I seem to remember seeing a pic of a man throwing doggy doos into someone's house. I'll have to have a look at the vid when I get home, I can't view them at work.

 

hi borrowers. the whole crazy set up is .the man who started the assault was brought up in this atmosphere.he proberly seen his dad doing the same thing (MANO I MANO).and the problem is the youngest generation are seeing the same thing ,and they will do the same thing!!.so where does it end?. i do NOT believe statistics,
they can be turned and manipulated to their own end.the government statistics say the crime rate is down?. ask, how many people have installed security lights in there paths and gardens (LATELY)?. how many people have installed security cameras(LATELY)?
how many people go for a walk in the local park, in a late summers night (LATELY)?
( how many kids do you see playing in your streets)?( LATELY)?.
we have elderly people (LOCKING) their doors at six o clock ,in the evening !!!
manners on public transport has gone .old standing,young sitting. shop door,hold it open for the person behind you? NO CHANCE!. i am not one of the old guard, but i do not like what i see. we are getting more like AMERICA, each day> some doors have four locks and bolts and security eye holes,and security buzzers ,i have seen this,its like a prison. so the question is (WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE????)

Finally watched the right video.

I find that kind of behaviour absolutely disgraceful. What I think was going on there is whoever was filming was intending to film the lad with the black t-shirt getting beat up by the mouthy idiot. More sickening is the fact that plenty of people were just stood around watching for their own entertainment.

While I always find violence disgraceful, I must admit to being glad that the bloke who was being started on finally lost his rag and showed the scrawny, nasty lad's mates what sort of a maggot he (the nasty lad) really is. I was particularly glad that said maggot showed not only that he is a maggot, but is also a cowardly maggot. It was him that tried to start the fight, relying on the false hope that you can win a battle with a display of obscenities. Now said maggot has learned that sometimes calm, in control individuals actually know how to deal with spineless maggots, and having started the fight, he further shamed himself by running away once he realised his intended victim might actually be able to match him.

I am glad that once the bloke in the back t-shirt defeated and humiliated the thug in front of all his buddies (anyone notice how maggot's mates were mostly just kids?), black t-shirt man didn't continue to leather maggot. Maggot would have deserved it, but that doesn't make it right.

 

the only thing i fear, for the chap in the black t/shirt is, retribution.watching the weedy characters mannerisms and body language on the video, i have come to the conclusion >HE IS A RAVING NUTTER!.the type of nutter who would(in the dark of night) do some damage to the household of the chap standing at the door. it has happened many many times.it is a horrendous environment to live in," speaking from personal experience".i had the experience of living beside" neighbours from hell". the disruption in our lives over a period of 3 years was horrendous,to put it mildly. i will not go into details,but we had police involved.we had lawyers involved.we had our local mp involved .
i would not wish on anyone what we went through for three years.it has all been resolved now,but three years of torment takes its toll. so that is why i have fear for this chap and his family.
it does not matter if you can handle yourself on a one to one.this type of character will lick his wounds (HE WONT FORGET HIS EMBARASMENT ) and it will fester in his mind and he will want retribution. remember he must have seen the footage,the same as we have.( CHILLING !). :(:(:(

 

Music - In my experience, once you put these idiots in their place, they are too cowardly to seek retribution. Of course that is not always true, so you're right it is an awful situation. Of course not knowing for certain whether someone is going to be a typical weasel, or whether they are going to regroup and come back must be the worst possible thing. If you KNOW that they are going to try something new, you can be ready for it. If you don't know, then you'd have to keep your guard up 24/7, and that would not be nice.

I spent a few years on a rough estate. Nobody specifically picked on us, apart from burgling our garage once, but being a pacifist by choice, I had to move out after a while because the way some of my neighbours were behaving, it was putting a serious strain on my principle of non-violence. Someone asked me why I moved from there. I told them that I was using all of my mental energy and self discipline just on stopping myself from giving my neighbours and good leathering. It was said that they'd deserve it if I did, but my attitude was that it was not for their sake that I didn't want to hit them, it was for mine. I was, and still am proud of my commitment to non-violence and had I lost my rag I'd have thrown all that away.

 

I understand how you feel exactly Clueless1 We tolerated the ultimate neighbour from hell for almost 5 years - had vehicles driven at my son and partner, young children threatened, their pet rabbit 'strung' over their climbing frame, one of our chickens killed - head tossed back into the garden with the neighbour making clucking noises over his side of the fence, our dog harassed and tormented, my partner mocked as we have older cars yet he on benefits could afford a new one, had our vehicles all smashed up with baseball bats one night, good neighbour's daughter threatened by him about giving a statement against what she had witnessed. We never retaliated once - we left it in the hands of the police. Justice did come though - we ended up doing a tv show where he admitted the harassment and false accusations, his partner even admitted her going along with it. He also admitted that it all started the night they had a big fight, she called me for help, and he came home just as I was leaving her place. It annoyed him that now the neighbours knew how he treated his partner, and his goal was to get us to move, as we were very remote, she didn't drive and was totally dependent upon him for everything. Now they are in a council house on an estate, and she has many friends local to her as she can now walk to them etc. She has a good circle of friends and is no longer 'captive' and totally dependent - so something good came from it He now has his criminal record for harassment, and her for criminal damage - and the next person who has a problem will have a much easier time than we did. We've now moved into a much nicer area, with wonderful neighbours and life is bliss Violence isn't the answer - all that will do is get you in trouble, and scum like this aren't worth it. My partner went for many a 'calm down' walk in those days.....nice to go for walks just for the enjoyment now

 

All these stories are just awful.

I have lived near rough sorts, and being tough and rather confrontational myself have never had more than one conversation with them. I cannot advocate this though-I was young and strong at the time, I would think twice now.
