I received yet another repeat catalogue today from Dobies but I won't be buying any more seeds this year, I have enough.

So are you all ready for the off? In just two weeks I'll be getting the first seeds underway and I'm champing at the bit! :hapydancsmil:

With this bad weather it's really put back my greenhouse build. Hoping to get it sorted by end of Fe going to get going then. I too am champing at the bit. I have got to resist this year as I sowed way to early last year and had loads of plants all over the conservatory, but this year it's my sons playroom so I have lost it.

I am going a bit later this year - I started mid-Feb last year and it proved to be too early; but yes, I am champing at the bit to get things started and am eternally hopeful that we get glorious weather and our gardens have both a colourful and a bountiful year.

I'll be starting off things like Lavender and Antirrhinums which are slow to develop, also seeds that have a long germination period. There's also the fact I have one electric propagator and need to get the turnover going as I have a lot to get through this year. By the time it's warm enough to use the greenhouse here, it's too late to start the seeds off for the current season.

I suppose that is where I can consider myself lucky Sheal - its generally mild to warm here.

You have the beautiful scenery though:blue thumb:

Jack, I thought I was in the wrong thread for a moment! :roflol:

Funny that, I have had burgers this week. Pork burgers and very nice too, free range pigs reared locally, so not much chance of horsemeat in those.
