ash tree disease

    apparently there is a threat for ash trees at present although it is suggested to report them rather than destroying them. Best precaution to limit the spread of the disease is to clean your boots from mud and leaves after visiting some woodland. http://www.forestry.gov.uk/chalara

    Its already too late. Best thing we can hope for is natural resistance with new trees that grow from seed.

    Think of some of our poor Oaks and others, They too have a hard time of getting some form of resistance to what has been brought in from other countries and come across on prevailing winds.
