I want to dead head my buddleja but my secateurs are lost, again.

I bought my current ones after giving up all hope of finding my previous ones. I found the previous ones within days of buying the latest news ones, they were outside, rusty.

Off out to by yet more.

For me, its secateurs. For my dad, its claw hammers. What tool are you forever misplacing?

Funny you should mention that - on Sunday OH and myself spent all morning looking for the Felco secateurs, which turned out to be on the table under a pair of socks - the first place we both looked and where we lifted everything up more than once. Gremlins. :th scifD36:

I've lost countless pairs of secateurs too. Not so bad with hand trowels since I got 1 with a revolting neon orange handle which is almost impossible to loose. I am now contemplating getting specs in the same colour (glamorous not) as have lost 2 pairs of reading specs and a pair of sunglasses this month,,,ggggrrrr .

I'm too tidy minded to lose anything I always put stuff back where it should be. However, I have two pairs of specs, with different lenses and you can guarantee they're always in another room to the one I want them in and it's always the wrong pair.

Not tools, but keys - I am forever hunting for the garage / tool-shed keys, and of course when I use the 'spare set' to open up or lock the door, - lo and behold! - the originals turn up on the kitchen table - weird?

                      Plasterer's smalltools.

Mainly because they get half inched on site. I've bought dozens of them, even had a set made by a Turkish Blacksmith while I was out there, all gone.

Your Secateurs are just inside the shed Clue, you were going to cut the runners off your Strawberry roof garden, but your mate came round & took you down the pub instead.

Well, I've been out. I bought:

                        * A round of soft drinks at the pub
                        * 2 books for the lad
                        * A stool for the lad

See if you can guess what I forgot to buy

I went into town to check my balance earlier, came back with some secateurs but forgot to check the bank

I got anvil ones made by Yeoman. Bought some Fiskars shears last year, they just stopped cutting grass, no matter how I sharpen them or adjust the screw bit, they just fold the grass over.

                            Weren't cheap either.
