Help, is this normal? It's on a south-facing wall, and still growing, but only very new stuff at the very top has green leaves; all the other leaves are going spotty/milky-coloured and drying up and falling off. Is this normal? I water and feed it well.

    Thanks for any opinion...

Ah sorry I can't manage that at the mo, but it's quite easy to describe, just imagine a milky (white), mildewy smattering over the leaf, as if you'd scattered milk on the leaves and left it to dry and it left a sort of residue. I've tried bug clear, that didn't work. The plant is still growing, and new leaves at the top are green, but then they turn milky and it's all rather distressing...<sob>....

It sounds like mildew. If the plant is very dense you could try thinning it out to let more air circulate. You could also spray with a fungicide, but obviously it won't help the leaves that are already diseased. :)
