Not sure if it really does look good considering that 10cm below the ground is still hard as rock, but things are beginning to wake up here too.

    Crocuses
    [IMG]

The thing that my house thought was a clematis but has turned out to be a honeysuckle instead

Don't know what this is, but it looks nice before it flowers

    Hostas are yawning and stretching

Not really plants, but suddenly there's lot's of these in the garden

Can't remember ever seeing them in here before

Never mind that it's been raining like crazy and everything will probably freeze over several times before the summer comes...plants are funny. :noidea:

and the white hellebores and epimedium leaves
      P1030903.JPG
leave garden and walk down to here - oops - not this way then!
      P1030904.JPG
      Alternative dry way
      P1030905.JPG
then down here and then up to the right

I have one too. Feel the same way, but it is at least a reliable bit of colour until something better matures and can go there.

I took these yesterday as the sun was going down.

Quick question: For Snowdrops, is one bulb one flower?

Those hellebores are stunning John :wow:, I only have one double at the moment and was hoping it might seed around like the others I have but have been told the doubles don't set seed so easily do you find this ?

Wonderful display of Helebores - mine are nowhere as advanced as yours are!

Now that is what I call clumps of snowdrops - fantastic!

Apart from my White Helebores, the others aren't open yet either but it shouldn't be long. But the Crocus, Primrose, Snowdrops with the Jasmine Nudiflorum still flowering down by the pond.

They are Double Ellen Picotee hybrids, I got them from Hayloft about 3 years ago as little plugs. This is the first year they have made a good show so up till now I've no experience of them producing seed.
