I've been reading Colne's thread too about his hens and how "naughty" they are! Chooks must be tougher than they look!!

        Morning all.:spinning:

Trust everyone is in fine fettle.:blue thumb:

Have been following through with my spring cleaning splurge, managed to
clear out my filing cabinet, soaking all the paper into a yucky mess, that will
        go on my compost heap.:eeew:

Took OH for his visit to the doctor, blood pressure up, so will have to arrange
3 calls to the nurse to get different readings.
Needs more blood test as well. Ankle still swollen from fall, so now waiting
to go to Reading hospital for more action.:sick0026:

Off shopping as it's market day mainly to get free blue boxes for my
seedlings. The lady there knows me and hold them for me.:yay:

Trying to everything into bigger pots, so have a chance of holding on whilst
we go away for 4 days to Weymouth.

Well, I hope you are able to take advantage of this lovely weather.:star:

        Good morning everyone,

You all seem pretty busy with one thing and another in the garden. I acquired myself a handsome young gardener who is happy to come and do so gardening for me. Yesterday he ran his motor mower across my grass for me and is coming back for a bit longer next week if he can when he will help me with the shrubs and edging which all has to be done. I was very greatful for that yesterday as at the moment I am only able to walk with my walking frame on wheels. My legs and feet have been so bad for so long now.

Do have a lovely day everyone, Woo glad to see you back posting your skies. Take care everyone, Good bless.:wub2:

        Aloha everyone,

I've just returned from taking Mrs Shiney and one of her patients up to London to catch the Tube to Hammersmith for a hospital appointment. Roads weren't too bad :blue thumb:. I'll have to pick them up again this afternoon.

Got a lot more done in the garden and shall carry on soon.

Moyra, wish you a lot better :grphg:

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

          Aloha everyone,

Also on the dull side here but it won't stop me from gardening.:)

Mrs Shiney is getting on well with doing cuttings and we hope to have a good amount ready for Open Day - slugs and snails permitting. They've already cleared out two trays of seedlings and have marmalised some of the lupins that were doing very well!

I'm still working on lawn edges but some of them have become too dry and solid to work with. So I'm gradually moving the sprinkler round the beds and letting the water reach the edges. There are big cracks already forming in the beds because of the drought!

          Have a great day

          Aloha!

Yes Shiney, it looks like we may have drought problems believe or not after all that rain and flooding.

Loli, will the chooks catch that mouse or will it escape?

Amber had to go to the vets she has either severe cystitis or liver problems as she is bleeding from the vulva and she was spayed at 6 months. I have to acquire a urine sample that should be fun. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Shiney...Just where do these slugs and snails hide:th scifD36: they're so crafty....I'd potted on some N.Sylvestris and was admiring what lovely looking plants they were, not a blemish on them and then half an hour later :gaah: whacking great chunks out of them:mad: I searched and searched for the culprits but they were no where to be seen...I thought snails were supposed to be slow:doh:...I must check my Lupins:doh:
