Morning all, hope you are well.

Bright sunny start to the day, bodes well for doing the greenhouse.

      Have a great day.

      Aloha everyone,

Steve, good luck with the greenhouse :blue thumb:. How many pairs of hands have you got?

Mrs Shiney has been doing loads of work in the garden and filled two wheelie bins yesterday. I picked beans, blackberries and apples :heehee: (Mrs Shiney had to pick the courgettes as I couldn't, comfortably, bend down that far - and I'm allergic to the courgette leaves). My back is lots better so, if I'm feeling up to it, I may do some mowing. We have friends coming today.

It's very sunny out there but not as hot as it has been.

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

      Good morning everyone,

It's a cracking morning here, not a cloud in the sky and cooler too, good day for gardening I'd say:thumbsup:

I've just been looking at my lawns and there's lots of patches on them,I used to blame Theo because although a 'boy' he squats and was on lots of tablets, but since Mrs Shiney cured him:love30::wub2: the lawns recovered too:yes:...now the patches are back and maybe with the grass being drier it has got burn't a little but after looking back on the cameras, which I haven't done for a while there was Mrs Fox who normally used the garden as a cut through, she seems to spent more time wandering in it nightly.Isn't she good leaving my 'girls' alone:fingers crossed: It's fascinating seeing the little twinkling eyes of the mice scurrying around the garden too. It's not really a problem yet anyway and the grass will recover, just doesn't look very nice.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone, take it easy and take care:SUNsmile:

        Morning Early people :)

Lovely day here on the Jurassic coast, pity about the Dinosaurs [IMG]

@Hairy Gardener , Steve, do you do the internet surveys when you got no work on? It's not much but it adds up at the end of the month, plus you get free breakfasts at Sainsbury's :)

Good Morning everyone, Going to be another hot one later in the day and if we are lucky we may get some rain.

Shiney, take care of that back of yours. Mrs S keeping very busy as usual too!

Loli, must be interesting to catch Mrs Fox on camera. You do get a lot of wild life in your garden.

Zigs, Dinasaurus species still around are they?

Steve, Good luck with the greenhouse.

Lots of folks we haven't seen lately on here, obviously enjoying their gardens. Have a great day all. God bless.:wub2:

              Aloha everyone,

Lovely sunrise, Woo :blue thumb: We never see the sunrise here as we face south and there are trees to the east. All we see is that the sun is shining through the tops of the trees. This time of year it takes at least two hours before the sun has swung round far enough to reach our garden - but we get some lovely sunsets across the fields. :)

Sadly, we have another funeral to go to today. I've had to cancel a meeting that I chair because the funeral is going to take up most of the day (and some of the other people that are supposed to be at the meeting will be at the funeral). There's a fair amount of travelling involved as I'm picking up some other mourners, driving up to Suffolk for the church service, then 15 miles to the crematorium, then 15 miles back to their village for the Wake and then all the way home again.

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

                Good morning everyone,

:thud:...Woo...you always take amazing pictures but that sunrise has got to be one of your best:wow::wub2:...it's breathtaking:love30:..

                Hope everyone is on form:dbgrtmb:

It was a fabulous sunny day yesterday and got very hot in the afternoon, did a bit of tidying around and sat back and did nothing:dancy:...not often that happens ,it was torture at first as I was tempted to just 'get that weed out' or 'I think I'll cut that back' but for once I relented:rolleyespink: it was a real treat:dbgrtmb:

Quick cuppa then off to the coal face:biggrin:....

Wishing everyone well, have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

                          Aloha everyone,

Funeral went well. There were a lot of people. It was a bit of a shock that he went so quickly. He had bowel cancer some years ago that had cleared up and then, last year, they found a cancer on his lung. He had treatment for that and had done very well with it almost disappearing and his check up and x-ray three weeks ago was excellent. After that they'd been away for a holiday and had a great time, and came back for their grandson's graduation party. He looked very well then.

Last Sunday he had sung in the church choir and they were organising to a lot of things. On Monday he had a sudden pain in his chest (they thought he was having a heart attack) and was rushed into hospital where he died on Tuesday. Whilst in hospital they did another x-ray and it showed that his whole body had exploded with cancer as though he had been attacked by an alien. In three weeks it had not only spread through the areas he previously had it but had also attacked his heart. The cancer specialist said they had never seen anything like it.

We left here just after noon and arrived back about 9 p.m. which just gave me enough time to go down the garden to deal with the wasps. I sprayed the powder into the hole and ran like hell! :runforhills:

I hope you're all snoozing well :snooze: and have a great day when you wake up

                          Aloha!
