Caterpillars

I noticed that there have been a few pictures of these brutes from time to time, but I thought some people might "enjoy" seeing the little charmer I spotted last weekend.
Everyone I've shown it to is convinced it's a stuffed toy!!
I believe it is an Elephant Hawk moth (or will be) and yes it was chomping on my fuchsias.

 

Yes it is and they come in shades of brown and black too nice picture, i don't see any my way

 

I hope it didn't eat too much fuchsia-and that you moved it somewhere safe!

 

Last one I saw was being chewed by the cat

 

Never seen one before thought it was beautiful looks like a knitted toy,
I only get common ones with huge appetites...
