Is this Hebe common?

    :) I noticed this attractive Hebe in a neighbours garden,it seems to have two different coloured flowers on one plant.
    I just wondered how common it is.

    I have seen this a couple of times, if you look closely you can see intermediate colour stages where some of the flowers are white tinged purple

    We had several back home.They grow quite large and the bees and butterflies love them.The changes in colour are just down to the age of each of their individual blooms.

    We have downsized and have a much smaller garden, so several tiny Hebe's now. :D

    My neighbour has this Hebe, it looks stunning!

    I have this one and it's called Hebe 'Marjorie'.
    It seems to have a very long flowering period and even has blooms in the middle of winter here.

    I've got one similar, in fact its all along the back of my allotment.

    It grows very big and I hack it back hard every few years.
    Lose most of the flowers for a year that way, but it can get out of hand otherwise.
