Right-if i can hold off aches and pains and a migraine today I will be going to garden centre for some compost. Is it wortht buying grow bags for toms and using it to fill tubs or better off just getting a growmore type?

Probably better off with growmore, grow bags need feeding after a couple of weeks anyway.

Nows the time to stuff a dustbin full of weeds and water to make a liquid feed, already got mine brewing and its a good way to get rid of stuff like bindweed roots :)

Grow bags are a con from the 1970's  They're a pig to water properly as well.

And comfrey if you can find it :)

I bought grow bags and have emptied them in to buckets/pots/storage containers. I don't think they're deep enough.

Final pot on for some tomatoes, taken most up to the poly and give 8 different spares to a friend. Flowers are forming :yay: think I'll give them all a feed :)

I'll get some compost [500 litres] next week and fill 15 buckets, then plant 3 lots of 5 varieties into the Green House. The rest will go to the Local Gardening Club sale and some will come with me to Shiney's Open Day along with some other plants for his and Mrs Shiney's sales.:hapydancsmil::snorky:

Yes I agree, water and hot Sun. Plants look healthy, most of mine are out in Blowaways.

Keep it if you want a giant fruit Linz (I would as the first few flowers have the potential for the biggest fruit)
