4 Days after that I picked these on Saturday including all those green ones sufficiently developed to ripen indoors. Only left a few due to heavy frost forecast.

          Today's pickings 5 days later

Inside my polytunnel after Monday's heavy frost. Might get one more picking as above then that's it for 2017.

Just in from clearing away all my Tomato plants.:cry3:Oh well can’t complain it is the middle of November. Nearly all my Tomaotes ripened with only a few Sungold still green. I’ll lob those into some chutney. Great crop this year despite the dreadful summer. Thank god for a green house as reckon without 1 my crop would have been non existent.
Sungold by far the best performer with enourmous trusses. If I only ever grow 1 variety that will be the 1 unless someone on here has come up with another variety which tastes as good and the fruits are a bit bigger. @Zigs them there plums are faire rare (Scottish for very good):)

Sungolds and super sweet 100's are still going, despite not being able to get in the polytunnel to water properly.

Had a shock when I tried the sungolds.. they are seriously "fruity"! Growing both next year for sure.

Frost wiped the last of mine out on 2nd November, over a month ago, very late for my plot, and frost also knocked stuff down on the very last day of May, sometimes I only get 4 frost free months.

                              1. I used to grow the crosses. mainly were cross but they have gone by the board now, now I do not grow in the green house, except to start them from seed ( T&M ) timena what i call comershal size no good in grow bags or pots they are potato leaved and have big roots (lovely ) and lesetto a small trailing tomato too big for a basket I use a half look in the center under the leaves they don't seem to need sun to ripen ,., gal barrel on a stand just one pland keep you and your frends in lovely sharp tomatoes all summer but be worned they ripen early look under the leaves they don't seem need the su.n to ripen, once tasted you will ues the green house for other things, that got mixed up some how.but it is worth sorting out, I too tired to do it now. cliff
